Yoga can be a restorative and healing practice for those who have physical restrictions from illness or injury or years of limited mobility and exercise.
Using restorative postures and gentle breathing practices, we provide an environment for people to tune into and draw their focus back to the ‘present’. Students are encouraged to take time to hold postures for longer, exploring the ease, stability and grace found through subtleties of alignment and effective use of the breath. Slow stretching and strengthening movements tailored to specific needs will improve and enhance well-being. Each class finishes with a long relaxation.
