Niamh graduated with an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from UCD in 1998. She started her career in the Mercy Hospital, Cork where she completed her hospital rotations. Since then, she has gained extensive experience in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy working in private practices both in Ireland and Australia. She has also worked with a number of sports teams along the way.
Niamh completed a Masters of Manipulative Therapy in Perth, Australia in 2003 and joined the Milltown team shortly thereafter. She specialises in back and neck pain and muscle assessments using biofeedback tools such as ultrasound imaging. She also has a special interest in work related upper limb disorders (RSI), nerve pain and headaches.
In addition to her clinical work, Niamh is currently undertaking a PhD in work related upper limb disorders and is a part time lecturer on the Musculoskeletal Masters programme in UCD.
