Maeve Whelan qualified in 1986 from TCD. She went on to do a post graduate Diploma in Obs & Gynae Physio in 1991. She worked in the Rotunda Maternity Hospital in Dublin for 3 years after spending 18 months in a New York Hospital and working in both St. Vincent’s Hospital and Beaumont Hospital.

Maeve started Milltown Physiotherapy Clinic in 1993 working with general physiotherapy patients. She works now exclusively with Obstetric and Gynaecological conditions.

Further to her clinical work in Milltown, Maeve teaches Women’s Health physiotherapists in Ireland and the UK. Maeve was awarded the title Specialist Member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists in 2008 for her work in Women’s Health physiotherapy.
