Denise McGrath - Massage Therapist

Denise graduated from the University of Limerick in 2000, with an honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science. In 2003, she completed her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering. She then went on to train as a Clinical and Sports Massage Therapist.

As well as working at the clinic, Denise is currently undertaking doctoral research at the School of Physiotherapy and Performance Science, UCD. Her research interests include gait analysis, fatigue and ankle instability and strength and conditioning. She is an accredited Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Denise uses clinical and deep-tissue massage techniques in the treatment of many ailments, and has been successful in treating conditions such as chronic and acute muscle/joint pain and dysfunction, muscle tension, muscle fatigue, headaches, stress and reduced range of motion.

She has also been involved with a variety of sports teams and individual athletes, working to promote injury prevention through pre- and post-event massage treatments and helping to resolve sports-related musculo-skeletal problems.
